As I waited for my next train at Solothurn station, I captured a moment that felt almost otherworldly. In the dimly lit tunnel, a solitary man walked with a walking stick, casting a striking silhouette against a glowing wall. The challenging light conditions were not ideal for my Summaron-M 1:5.6/28 lens, yet they added a magical quality to the scene. The soft illumination and the stark contrast between the darkness and the light created an ethereal atmosphere, making the man's silhouette appear almost ghostly. This unexpected beauty, born out of the interplay between light and shadow, embodies the essence of street photography – finding extraordinary moments in the everyday.
